20 Worried About Food Shortage
It's really awful to think about the number of people in this world who are starving. Yet you can go down to your local McDonalds and see fat people stuffing their faces. What a distirbing thought. The world has all the resources that we need. But when we start looking for more than that then things really start to go down the pan.
Of course, it's not just greed. Populations of third world countries are really exploding and they need to eat food. Unfortunately this often means farming on land that used to be pristine forests enjoyed by animals such as elephants and tigers.
It's interesting to think that there are natural appetite suppressants according to Unique Hoodia reviews. You simply take a few pills and then you don't feel like eating so much. I like that idea but only for the really greedy people. I wouldn't want some starving person to start taking them.
However the Hoodia Gordonii cactus can long been used by the bushmen in South Africa. Why? Because they go out on long hunting expiditions and found they needed something to keep their hunger away.
So basically I think people should be losing weight by eating less because it might mean that the people who really need food will be able to.
It seems that food prices are just going up and up all the time. I'd also like to start growing some of my own food. I've started with cherry tomatoes and they're really easy to grow. They also have 3 times as much flavour as the ones you buy in the supermarket which is great. There's no air miles or carbon footprint either!
